
Joan Coleman is president of AT&T Kentucky, a communications company providing wireless, high speed Internet access, voice and advanced IP-based business communications services.
Joan joined the company in 1986. During her career, she has worked in the Network, Industry Relations, Consumer Marketing, Strategic Management and Regulatory & External Affairs organizations in Louisville, Birmingham and Atlanta.
The Kentucky native has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree from the University of Kentucky. She earned a Master of Arts in Public & Private Management (MPPM/MBA) from Birmingham Southern College.
In the community, Joan currently is a member of the Executive Committee for the Louisville Science Center where she is immediate past chair. She is chairman-elect and on the Executive Committee of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, as well as Executive Committee member and chair-elect for Leadership Louisville. Joan is on the board and a member of the Executive Committees for Greater Louisville, Inc. and Fund for the Arts. She is a member of the University of Louisville Hospital board, Business Leaders for Education and the ConnectKentucky Steering Committee. She also serves on the Advisory Committee for UK’s College of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
Closer to home, Joan is a Girl Scout troop leader and Junior Achievement volunteer. She lives in Anchorage, Kentucky with her husband Gregg and their three daughters.
